![]() We just had a baby (our 2nd, yay!), so no more sleep lol and no more time to spend trying out systems. And haven't tried the site/app much on mobile either. But it doesn't have a mobile app, but it's not such a problem since I tend to do my planning on the computer, I use mobile more on the go so I don't mind too much. It's not great, but does the job and will do for now until I find better. Most other AI schedule apps can do this simple job, but Focuster's the best I found for this: fairly cheap, does the job well, syncs with my other calendars and shows a decent notification of upcoming time-box to switch. I honestly rarely schedule them in Todoist though, maybe just 5% of them. Then for each box I'll just hand pick the tasks for that project (so I leave it up to Todoist to manage my tasks / sort them). But mainly, it's synched with my other calendars and will shuffle around boxes into a workable schedule. It's always kinda the same (so almost like a template), so it's simple to organize and maintain. I then decide on the time I allocate each of these in my weekly planning. ![]() One per project or context: Work, Sideline (Trading Stocks), Family, Fitness, Hobby (Music, Reading, etc), Admin. I just create simple time boxes in it and leave all my tasks and management in Todoist, like before. I ended up using Focuster, and a much simpler system (and lowered ambitions -P). Rather focus on just making sure my master task list (Todoist) is clean and organized. Or worse the even "hackier" promise of zappier which can help "hack-around" a missing integration, but all those are hacks, often counterproductive and add some tedious work, which defeats the idea in the 1st place. Not to mention, annoyances like text formatting hiccups, lack of support for Todoist's markup (I often use links (link text) in my tasks, etc etc. I figured, a lot of these tools have the same or competing features of Todoist, so often feels like duplicated work, a hassle to maintain, sync, etc. Outside these, anyone knows of such tools ? Reclaim.ai: pretty good so far, plus low cost. Focuster: ok but not much sync / api / fast import / export options so basically it's again too manual Trevor AI: tried it a bit earlier, but my data was way too messy so I gave up. Motion: quite good, but really too expensive I found a few already, but just would like help to find a better one, if possible. ![]() Hence, I'd just like an ideal tool take care of arranging my day-to-day schedules somewhat smartly, using priorities, tackling tasks of a given project or label, and to keep it all sync'ed (Todos + GCal + tool). That's too time consuming in itself, and too often just fails because I got side-tracked, some surprise problem, etc etc. But I really don't like to fine schedule things, with precise hours and all. The built-in integration works ok already, but most of my tasks have no precise schedule (only day), I mostly rely on priorities, labels, and prefer the freedom of just having to maintain this check list logically organized. I also like the Time-Block approach to focus & efficiency. I'm a big Todoist user (got to Enlightened karma level), and also like Google Calendar.
